Pocketlings were created by a 10-year-old Black girl who couldn't find a soft doll that made her feel seen—so she made one.

Hi! I'm Olamide!
I've lived in Nigeria, Canada, and America – and I love all three! But when I went to toy shops, I could never find a soft doll that looked like me. That made me feel kind of invisible. So I thought… why not make my own?
That's how Pocketlings started! I wanted every kid to have a doll that makes them feel seen and special – like they belong. Our dolls have Yoruba names with real meanings because our culture is beautiful and I want the whole world to know it.
I'm only 10, but I know this: when you see yourself in the things you play with, it changes how you feel about yourself. Pocketlings are for every child who deserves to feel proud of exactly who they are.
